How to delete an application from your BlackBerry smartphone

To delete an application from your BlackBerry smartphone, complete these steps:

 

1.  From the Home screen, go to Options.
2.  Select Advanced Options.
3.  Select Application s.
4.  Highlight the application you want to remove, then press the Menu key and select Delete.

 

Note: Most of the IM icons on your screen cannot be deleted. The app can be removed, but the icon will still show up (clicking on it will bring up the install screen). The only thing you can do with these placeholder icons is hide them
